On behalf of all of our members I would like to Welcome you to our Web site.
Wollaton Park Rotary Club was Chartered (admitted to the National and International world of Rotary) in 1981. It is one of 58 Rotary Clubs in District 1220.
It is a lively and progressive club with a cross section of ages, gender and race. We apply the principle of ‘Service above Self’ in supporting projects at home and internationally. Responding to local needs, as identified and also when worldwide disasters strike.
Wollaton Park Rotary Club members by working and sharing time together make a difference to the young, as in our School concerts and the older members of the community by taking a number of them on trips and by providing transport to and from social activities for others
It is not all about raising funds, albeit this is necessary, but we also have social activities and share these with our sister organisation Wollaton Inner Wheel, Rotaractors (Rotary for 18-30 year old) during our guest nights and during our ‘Time Out’ away from our normal meeting venue, visiting the theatre and other places of interest, followed by a meal and drink.
By being part of the Rotary family there is the opportunity to reach out to others who need a helping hand and to make a difference in their lives.
