Welcome

 

We are a Club of about 26 professional and business men and women, including some who have retired.

 

We meet on a Tuesday evening for friendship, fun and to help those in the community less fortunate than ourselves.

 

The Rotary year runs from July 1st to June 30th and club officers change, giving others the chance to undertake new roles. 

 

Guided by our principal "Service above Self", we raise funds for charity. Some of the causes supported may be large others small. Some are local, some national and some international. This reflects the international nature of the Rotary movement, with thousands of clubs in more than 200 countries, any member is made welcome wherever they may be.

 

Rotary must be fun and to achieve this we have many events: conferences, visits and outings, dinners and many other social events; some to raise funds and others for pure enjoyment.
