Mart Rodger Manchester Jazz blow their trumpets for Valley Rotarians

If you're a Traditional and Dixieland Jazz enthusiast, or want to support a local charity helping youngsters (Dukes Barn  http//www.dukesbarn.org), you're in for a real treat. As the Rotary Club of Hope Valley have just announced that Mart Rodger Manchester Jazz band have promised to appear for Rotary's tenth Charity Jazz Evening at Calver Village Hall on Saturday 19th October.

Rotarian Alisma Clark advised that enthusiasts should contact her to book their tickets sooner rather than later, as the past nine charity Mart Roger jazz evening have been a sell-out. If you can attend this charity night event you'll be following famous names like: Humphrey Lyttelton, Cy Laurie, Marion Montgomery, Yank Lawson and Middleton Pollock, who have all shared in wonderful jazz evenings with Mart Rodger Manchester Jazz. But there's another bonus, proceeds will be passed directly to the Dukes Barn charity and other local charities.

Calver Village Hall, which has a bar, is once again the venue for this jazz spectacular. The fun starts at 7.30 pm, with tickets costing 10 each. Book your place/s by contacting Rtn Alisma Clark on:  01433 631 585 or email Alisma: clark.calver@gmail.com .  Tickets will not be sold at the door, but once payment has been made it will be possible to pick up tickets at the door, on the night.
