"Food and water, health care and schooling, the chance of a long and full life - this is the unrealised dream of too many children.

In 2008/9, I ask you to "make dreams real" for these children and their families and to work with me toward the Rotary dream of a happier, healthier and more peaceful world".

Dong Kurn Lee.  President Rotary International,  2008/9

Message from our Club President - Graham Hayes

President Graham Hayes being congratulated by
                                                                                      outgoing President Keith Bentley

Welcome to our website which I hope you find both interesting and stimulating. It is designed to give you a flavour of our Club and what we do in Rotary.

Rotary or Rotary International to give it its full title is the biggest voluntary service organisation in the world with its 1.3 million members in 187 countries - our Club represents Rotary in the Bulwell & Basford region of Nottingham,  but you do not have to live within that area to be a member or to help with projects.

We may not be the biggest club in Rotary but we do have a big heart and by exploring this site we hope to show you that not only do we help those less fortunate than ourselves,  we enjoy the challenge of doing so.

If there is one of our projects you feel you could help us with or indeed you may have one you think we could help you with, then do contact us via the website or come along to one of our meetings at the Five Ways (see below) and discover at first hand what we and Rotary are all about.

We hope to meet you soon.
