Welcome

Our Club

This is the website of the Rotary Club of Bolsover. The Rotary Club meets at The Keep, Bolsover, on Wednesday evenings at 7 for 7.30 p.m.

The Rotary Club of Bolsover regards itself as a friendly club, welcoming visitors and displaying the fellowship for which the Rotary movement is known.

Please browse our website and  let us have your comments.

We currently have 21 members and two honorary members.

We are active in our own community and supportive of communities in need overseas.

We are particularly looking at ways to benefit communities in Sri Lanka, providing clean water. See below.

Our current President is Frank Clifford and our Secretary is Tom McConnell, with David Fish as Assistant Secretary.

Tom can be reached on 01246 474449 in the evenings and by e-mail at

The Rotary Wheel

Moving the wheel!

For a variety of reasons, the Rotary wheel located on the hill leading up to Bolsover had to be moved. So, on Sunday 26th October 2003, the club got together and attracted a better turnout than for club meetings!

We desperately need a photographer in the club because members brought picks, shovels, gloves and other items, but nobody brought a camera!

So for now, we have a photograph of the wheel at its former site. Watch this space!

And this is your reward - 4 years after the event, the "new" picture appears!
