DISTRICT YOUNG MUSICIAN CONCERT 2010

The annual District Young Musician Concert takes place on Sunday May 9^th  19.00 at the Assembly Rooms Derby – Admission  £5  As ever, it’s a “showcase” event and non-competitive, designed to provide talented young musicians with an opportunity to perform before a paying audience in a “prestige” venue.

Now well established at the Assembly Rooms Derby , the quality of our performers grows year on year with many having gone on to forge successful careers in music and the event has become one which demonstrates some of the highest young talent around and is an evening of music making not to be missed.

Youth Opportunities intends in 2010 to “market” the event to clubs across the District with the aim of filling every seat with the aim of providing our young performers with an audience that befits their talent. Participation is by nomination from any club within the District and the application form now is , for the first time , available to complete online via this link but is also being sent to club YOPS chairs by email attachment which can be competed and sent back by that means.
