ROTARACTORS ASCEND MOUNT EVEREST On the 30th May 2005 three members of the Rotaract Club of New Road City Nepal - Moni Mulepati Sherpa, Pem Dorjee Sherpa and Kami Sherpa hoisted the Rotary Centenary Flag on the summit of Mount Everest and phoned RI President Glenn Estess Sr from the summit. At the same time two of the party married to enter the Guiness Book of Records. The flag was presented to RI President Glen who waved the flag to the roaring cheers of the audience at the R I Convention in Chicago on 23rd June 2005.
