On Wednesday February 23rd 2005 - we
“Celebrate Rotary - 100 Years”

It marks the start of the celebrations and events that District 1220 Clubs have been planning, organising and preparing since the start of this Rotary year. The events are numerous with many Clubs joining together and others deciding to do their own projects. Whatever the choice, it promises to be an exciting and eventful “Birthday”
Congratulations and enjoy a unique experience.

District Events

Service of Celebration on Sunday 27th February 2005 at Derby Cathedral starting at 3 pm, with Trent College, Long Eaton entertaining from 2.30pm.

Nottingham Philharmonic Orchestra presents Rotary’s Centenary Concert on Saturday March 12th 2005 at the Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham starting at 7.30pm.

RIBI President Gordon McInally is to visit the District on March 23rd/24th

Tsunami Disaster.

We have been requested by RIBI President Gordon to establish the amount of Funds that Clubs have collected and donated to the Tsunami disaster.
Please advise me of the figures ASAP.

Wirksworth- Aquabox.

My appreciation and thanks to everyone for the magnificent support you have and are giving to the Wirksworth Club since the disaster struck.
The dedication of the Wirksworth Club is unbelievable and what a benchmark they set for us all.
Your support and encouragement is very much appreciated.
